Office Reopening

First of all, thank you for your patience and for staying connected with our office during these difficult times. It looks like things are on the upswing and we will be reopening on May 18, 2020 (Monday).

Our office has always implemented safety standards to treat patients.

However, rest assured that we are taking above and beyond steps to further increase safety for patients and staff at Karen Torres DDS PA due to the COVID-19 virus. We have completed extensive research and will share details of the additional protocols our office will be implementing at a later point. Now to the exciting news!

Dr. Torres will be implementing a wellness program starting on May 18.

What does this mean for you? Our office will be available to see patients for dental exams and x-rays. This will enable us to keep possible exposure of COVID-19 to a minimum for anyone that steps into our office while also allowing Dr. Torres time with each patient to discuss any concerns and stay current on dental diagnoses.

We will also offer the option of tele dentistry for patients of record. Please let us know if that is your preferred option for a dental exam.
Unfortunately, not all services will be immediately available.

Why? Aerosols created during certain dental procedures require the need for additional PPE equipment. We are working with suppliers to have this necessary equipment by the end of May/beginning of June.

We understand that stable oral health and wellness are keys to our systemic health and wellbeing, which thereby impacts on our immune system.

We know that having a strong immune system plays an important role when defending ourselves against COVID-19 or any other type of virus/bacterial infection. These reasons are the driving force behind our wellness program.

We have not forgotten about you and we sincerely hope to see you soon. Our office staff will be contacting patients impacted by the office closure to schedule patients back on the books.

Lastly, for all of our patients of record, if your job or dental insurance has been affected directly by COVID-19, please do not hesitate to call us so we can offer potential solutions to keep you on track with your dental health.

We hope to see you very soon!
